Slim-Fast to unveil on-the-go bottles for shakes

Slim-Fast, a business unit of Unilever that offers meal replacement shakes and bars along with meal planning and exercise advice for weight management, will launch the brand’s shakes this month in new on-the-go bottles.

The new Slim-Fast shakes will be available in different flavors including Creamy Milk Chocolate, French Vanilla, Rich Chocolate Royale, Cappuccino Delight and Strawberries N’ Cream.

The new shakes will be available on retail shelves in the diet and nutrition sections of retailers such as Walmart, Target, Safeway, Walgreens and Kroger and on Amazon.com.

The 10-ounce bottles, which are lighter, re-closable and more versatile than the previous Slim-Fast canned shakes, will be available in packs of four, eight and 20. The new on-the-go bottles makes it easier to reach weight-loss goals anytime and anywhere.

Slim-Fast Registered dietitian Ali Auerbach said the new size and bottle shape provides a more convenient solution that’s packed with 10gms of protein, 5gms of fiber and 24 essential vitamins and minerals.

The new shakes are part of the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan and product line, which includes three snacks, two shakes or meal replacement bars and one nutritious, balanced, 500-calorie meal.

The company will provide a ‘Buy It Now’ option on its official Facebook page, starting from 17 October, that will allow the consumers to order new Slim-Fast shakes and other Slim-Fast products quickly, conveniently and directly through a custom tab.
